WEOM® ONVIF is a compact, high-performance thermal imaging core designed for seamless integration into a wide range of applications – from professional security systems to autonomous technologies and industrial automation. This fully functional, ITAR-free module is developed in Europe with a strong focus on reliability, flexibility, and easy deployment. The module uses an uncooled microbolometer with a resolution of 640 × 480 px, a 17 μm pixel pitch, and thermal sensitivity of <30 mK, delivering highly detailed imaging even in minimal temperature differences. The resulting image is sharp, high-contrast, and clearly visible under all conditions. WEOM ONVIF is also equipped with a wide range of interfaces including Ethernet (with PoE support), RS485 for PTZ control, digital I/Os, and full ONVIF compatibility, allowing for quick integration into any modern system without the need for additional development or customisation.

Using Johnson’s Criteria, the system can detect a human-sized object at distances up to 3,910 meters, a vehicle up to 9,470 meters, and a drone up to 2,060 meters. The lens features a fast f/1.6 aperture, IP67-rated front lens protection, and a durable DLC (diamond-like carbon) coating – all essential for delivering high-quality thermal imaging in harsh environments and mission-critical applications.
